It’s winter market season!
Market is open 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, December 2023 to April 2024
Our members bring the freshest products from their farms and kitchens to Bangor every Sunday for the farmers’ market.
You’ll find seasonal vegetables, greens, mushrooms, apples and berries, meats including beef, pork, lamb, and chicken, fresh bread, pastries, made-to-order crepes, eggs, cheese and other dairy products, locally-roasted coffee, flowers, garden plants, canned products, handmade skin care products, and so much more.
Use the contact info on the Meet Your Farmers page to contact individual vendors for information about their products and market schedule.
Please subscribe to our email newsletter to receive occasional general updates about the market.

Payment Options
We accept cash, SNAP/EBT, and credit/debit cards. Stop by our info booth to swipe your card and get tokens you can use with any vendor! Many vendors also accept credit/debit cards right at their stands, and many produce vendors accept WIC Farmers’ Market Checks..
If you use SNAP, ask about our bonus Maine Harvest Bucks for fruits and vegetables. We partner with the Maine Federation of Farmers' Markets to provide Maine Harvest Bucks, and we’re able to offer an increased match in 2023 thanks to a grant from the Penobscot County Commisioner’s Fund.

Joining the Market
Applications are open to anyone who would like to apply by our annual deadline of March 1st. Each year, we attempt to accept only those new members who will offer items for sale at the market which are not already present in abundance. If you are not familiar with what items are present at market, please review the member directory.
Everything offered for sale at market must be produced by market members themselves. The market is primarily oriented towards locally-grown and locally-processed food products, and handicrafts are not allowed, Non-food items that incorporate the products of members’ farms, such as yarn and skin care products, may be considered.
How to apply to the market: first read the Market Rules and the Market By-Laws. These documents will help you to understand how the market operates and what is expected of all market members. Then download and complete the Market Application. Instructions for submitting the application and the deadline for applying are on the application form.
If you have further questions you may contact the market's Secretary, Tim Wilson at cwfarmmaine@gmail.com
