Mueller’s Fruit Farm
We acquired Schartner’s Orchard in Thorndike and have lived there since August of 2015. Our business model is similar to the previous owner’s: growing and local direct marketing of fresh fruits throughout the season.
At several local farmers markets we offer MAINE-ly strawberries, raspberries, plums and a wide variety of apples together with jams, jellies and fresh cider.
Our focus is on providing large variety and excellent quality locally. We working on adding new varieties and new fruits to provide a longer season and additional choices of fresh fruits.
Our offering includes ‘Pick-Your-Own’ and a farm store at the farm in Thorndike and we also attend the Bar Harbor / Northeast Harbor, Belfast, Brewer, Orono and Southwest Harbor Farmers’ Markets.
At some markets and in our farmstore we are selling jointly with Murphy’s Family Farm from Freedom, Maine.
